Do you need a special driving licence to operate a suction excavator?
Do you need a special driving licence to operate a suction excavator?
To drive a suction excavator as a vehicle, you need an HGV driving licence. To operate the suction mechanism, you need a special MTS driving licence in the form of a training certificate.

The collecting container of an MTS suction excavator is tipped and emptied using a remote control. Depending on the selected equipment, different tipping heights are possible.

Should the collecting container be lined with stainless steel?
A stainless steel lining of the collecting container has its benefits. It enables better slip properties during emptying of the collecting container and increases the longevity of the suction excavator as a whole. This in turn increases the resale value.

For new vehicles after 100 operating hours, for all other suction excavators every 500 operating hours of the fan or once a year.

Shipping costs for MTS parts depend on the dimensions, weight and delivery options of the shipment. Shipping is usually carried out by UPS – or, in the case of bulky goods, by a freight forwarder.

Once your remote control has arrived, we will work to identify the fault as quickly as possible. Our experts will then assess the issue and provide you with a quote. As soon as you have accepted our quote for the repair, we will do our best to return your remote control as quickly as possible.
