MTS has conquered the global market with its motivated team and innovative product, the DINO suction excavator. The family business has a long history. Meanwhile, more than 170 people work at the MTS German headquarters in Germersheim.

“Unique and incredibly innovative,” says Aleks from the sales department. Andreas, who has been in product purchasing at MTS for four years, also finds suction excavators and the market development extremely exciting. “Unique technology”, “a very special product”.

Iris has been a member of the MTS family for ten years and now, after a break to have children, works in purchasing. MTS provided her with training after parental leave to help her reconcile her family and career progress. Aleks also successfully handles the balancing act between family and work: “I can organize my working hours very flexibly according to my personal needs.”
A former colleague sums up the all-round package of employee acceptance and promotion in a nutshell: “It was my best job so far, I was very happy there. Unfortunately, I had to move house for family reasons. Otherwise I would still be working at MTS with the suction excavators.”

Training at MTS
MTS provides apprenticeships in various professions: Office clerks, metal workers, electronics technicians and product designers will find an exciting professional future at this company. The apprentices receive intensive support and are individually trained in the in-house training workshop on the production, maintenance and service of suction excavators. All apprentices, including those from administration, go through the entire suction excavation production process during their training and therefore get to know “their” suction excavator inside out.
“We are training the professions we need. That’s why the chances of being taken on are very high,” explains Selina Reifer, Head of Training and HR officer at MTS. “We take great care of our apprentices. Our suction excavators and the family atmosphere provide the stable basis for a solid apprenticeship.”
Noah, who is currently completing a metal worker apprenticeship, finds his work at MTS interesting, productive and varied. His favorite department is production, where he especially appreciates the teamwork and collaboration among colleagues. His apprentice colleague Martin feels at home in service: “Fantastic team – I fix all kinds of things here and am learning a lot.”
